In essence you are correct. How is this any different from a scientists
reporting science.
Every science paper says, in part, "Here's where and how we looked at
what we looked at, so you can go look for yourself." And then other
scientists (and nonscientists) do look for themselves. In short, science
is the exact opposite of supernatural claims.
OK, you aren't able to show us any supernatural sensors, so how do you
know if a person who claimed supernatural knowledge is telling the
truth?
The test of time. Lies generally fall to the way side given enough
time.
Supernatural events have been recorded for many many thousands of
years.
Supernatural events have been falling by the wayside. Succubi and incubi
are now completely dead, supplanted by studies of sleep-related
phenomena. Astrology, we now know, was never supernatural, because it
was never anything happening. Haunted houses are no longer supernatural.
There is accumulating evidence that faith healing has fallen to the
natural. And there are plausible natural explanations for damned near
*every* so-called supernatural being natural.
The test of time. Supernatural claims generally fall to the wayside
given enough time.
