The king then asks where the man's job is, and then leaves.
The poor man thinks as the king leaves "he just doesn't

In a few weeks, the man is a little better, but his foot is
still not well. He hears a knock at the door. It is someone
with a bag of money for him. The poor man says, where
did this money come from? The one who brought the
bag of money said to him, "a man that looked very much
like our king said you were sick and that he wanted to
do your work for you, and that we were to bring the
wages to your house and give them for you." Now the
king was rich enough that he could have paid the man the
money he would be needing when he normally would
have received his wages. But the king wanted to show
that man that he truly cared about him, and also cared
for the position that he held at the company that he worked
for, enough to fill it and get his job done for him.

When I said that the evidence is Christ, this story
illustrates what I was meaning by that. The Lord came
himself, leaving his throne in Heaven, and became one
of us, in order to do for us something that we cannot
do for ourselves. He came, in person.

Paid sick leave is not a christian invention.

In the story that I related, no one had to pay for a replacement
for the man. His job was completely filled and his wages
also were given to him just as though he had been there, and
doing his job.

You can make a fictional story say anything you want, just look
what
the writers did with the bible.

God's Riches At Christ's Expense.

It also spells out Good Rats Ate Cheese Exclusively.

May I point out that there is no full stop after Mr in correct
English.

In American English grammar, there is a period after
"Mr." because it is an abbreviation. This is the correct
way to write it.

It is a contraction, not an abbreviation, and so it takes no point.
The
difference:

Mister -> M...r -> Mr
Editor -> Ed... -> Ed.

John, I teach English in America. Here it has a period.
However, in business writing, a new trend has arisen
with some to leave off the period.
