As I've pointed out before, creationism was never science.
I am not sure I agree with this statement. Even Darwin, on his Beagle
cruise, referred to "centers of creation" when describing the distribution
of species. This refers to a model that could tested by evidence and either
fail or be modified. This model did not so much fail as get replaced by a
better model.
