Tom Willis has a gem of an article in the Creation Science Association
for Mid-America. In this article he concludes that "the facts warrant
the violent expulsion of all evolutionist from civilized society". It
would be good laugh except a disturbingly high percentage of my fellow
citizens would welcome it.

(If this has been brought up already sorry for the double post.)
(Mr Willis has some claim to fame due to being the originator of the
Lucy Knee lie. Search for 'Lucy Knee' on talkorigins for more info)
Willis is not speaking literally, he is making a point that
evolutionists, by all rights, based on the evidence, should be viewed
as dangerous animals thus forfeiting their right to influence
civilized society.
He is right but his answer is draconian and not enforceable. What is
enforceable is that persons who believe in muderous and racist theory
of evolution should be barred from being Federal and State Judges, and
should be barred from teaching Science or Religion. They should be
permitted to teach Philosophy.
Of course this is exactly what will happen in the semi-near future: to
make up for the damage evolutionists have done to our society. After
the damage is reversed those who still cling to the illegitimate
fantasy of evolution will be allowed to hold all posts but will be
forced to keep their reality defying beliefs to themselves.

Let's see now, the theory of evolution has been around since the mid
19th century.
Did it cause World War One? Nope.
Did it cause World War Two? Nope.
Did it cause Osama bin Laden to attack the USA? Nope.
Did it cause any of the other wars, or acts of genocide, such as
Dafur? Nope.
Did it cause the Japanese people in the USA to be rounded up like
common criminals after Pearl Harbour? Nope.
Did it cause the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, the wars of the
Emperor Charlemagne? Nope.
Did it cause the widespread civil discord (called by some) the
Protestant Reformation? Nope.
Did it cause GWB2 to invade Iraq against the wishes of the
International Community? Nope.
Most wars, acts of genocide, inquisitions, wrongful imprisonment,
torture and murder of innocents, are caused by people who believe they
have God's blessings or are doing God's work.
Perhaps Mr Martinez you need to open your eyes to the real facts of
life, religion and science before you spout such rhetoric in the
newsgroups again.
