I just found an article about the plans on Telepolis:

http://www.heise.de/tp/blogs/6/108843

Sadly, it is only available in German but the Swiss based corporation
Genesis Land (http://www.genesis-land.ch/) has an English website on the
project.

According to the article, the park will contain a attractions like a
"actual
size" Noah's ark and a number of hotels, shops and restaurants. It is
supposed to teach the visitors about biblical history as well as about
the coming end of days. The 120 million Euro project is scheduled to be
opened in 2011. The Protestant church of Germany sees the project rather
critically.

Where is the funding coming from? That's a lot of money for promotion of
a
not very popular viewpoint. I'm curious about the sponsorship and
support. I can see this happening in the USA (as it did in the Creationism
Museum) but in Germany/ W Europe?

That's the point. I don't find anything on their website about the funding
and honestly don't know where this amount of money should come from. The
founders of the project seem to think this park can make a profit, maybe
they plan on getting the money from investors in it for the profit ;-)
