First of all, my 60th b'day was last sunday, I only mention it because
my daughter in law was about a week over due expecting their first
child. Of course the baby was not born until tuesday evening. I got
home from work heard the voice mail and calle my wife to let her know.
My wife was a the pediatrician.s office getting our first grand child
checked as she was sick.
Now the bad news, at the time my grandchild was being born I was
getting sick and collapsing on the floor. I ended up calling 911 and
getting a ride to the hospital in the back of one. And ultimately I
had a operation to cure some damge caused by scar tissue.
which brings up the point. I am currently in the hospital sending this
out on a pc provided by the hospital. So, only because i am able to
send from a hospital can I wish all of you a happy mom's day

As a follow up, I has an exploratory operation the Friday after I went
into the hospital (just opened in Novevember, very nice place). Turns
out that the scar Abdominal Aortic Aneurism was repaired 7 years ago
developed excess scar tissue. and that was causing irritation to my
bowels. It took me
the next 10 days before I could tolerate anything other than Ice chips.
Had a tube down my nose and into my stomach until last night. It would
be disconneted from the pump during the day while I tried to drink clear
liquids. By the time evening came around I was ready to throw up, and
the tube would be reconnected. Finally yesterday I was able to start
eating the crappy food they have. Not much, and still not able to eat
very much, but I am able to eat a little bit of gentle food and keep it
down, even have normal bowel movements. So I came home. 2 weeks to the
day after I was taken there in an ambulance. It will be at least another
2 weeks until I am able to return to work. Hopefully over the next
couple of weeks I will be able to build up my strength.
You really know how to have a good time. Read some good books and get
better.

Thanks, but last Wednesday, I went back into the hospital because I could
not keep anything down. Back home now, after another week in. Hopefully
things will go good. If not, I am going to have another operation.
As far as good books go, I have a bunch to read.
