On 5/22/2008 2:25 AM, alwaysaskingquestions went clickity clack on the keyboard and produced this interesting bit of text:
The one that has improved impenetrable all along - the actual creation ofWhy?
life in the laboratory.
Let me kick that one back to you - if it is possible, how come science has
I just have to comment on this. Lots of things weren't possible at one time. For example, radio. Imagine, talking to people over hundreds or thousands of miles. My dad is a ham radio operator who talks to people all over the world, including the "long path" which is going more than half-way around the world to talk to somebody. (He lives in California and has talked to Japan when his antenna was pointed east.) No satellites involved. Ain't the ionosphere great? What about all the things we have that are based on lasers? Fiber optics? Flying? Space flight? DNA therapy? The world is full of things that were impossible at one point. Just because scientists have yet to create life does not mean that it will never happen. It shows a definite lack of imagination not to see that while something may not currently be possible it can't be possible later on.
