I'll reduce all my questions to just this one:

What is accessible to science to investigate is about 4% of all that
exists in this iteration of a Big Bang.

How did you come up with this number?

Bill

When you subtract dark matter and dark energy, what you have left is
the nature available for science to study - the "visible" 4% of the
universe. The matter and energy on the Dark Side is dark because it
can't be detected by any means know to science (today) and cannot,
therefore, be studied. Being beyond science also makes the dark stuff
non-scientific by definition. The existence of the Dark Side is
inferred by what theory says -should- be there, but it is most
certainly not nature in the sense of "nature is all there is". Pretty
cool stuff.
