What is Intelligent Design?
This question is directed towards the adherents to ID. I keep seeing
people arguing in such a way that makes this seem like a question whose
answer is situational. So I want to lock it down: What, exactly, is ID
to somebody who believes in ID?

Basically the Discovery Institute's version of intelligent design was
just scam. It was just a dishonest ploy to circumvent the law.
If this were not true the Discovery Institute creationist perps would
not be running a bait and switch scam on their own supporters. Anyone
that pops up and wants to teach the science of intelligent design gets
the switch run on them. The switch scam doesn't even mention that ID
ever existed. If ID were not just a dishonest creationist political
ploy, why would they need to run a dishonest bait and switch scam?
Any creationist that doesn't believe this, just get your local school
board to teach the science of intelligent design and watch how fast
the switch comes in. If you are a creationist and you supported the
dishonest ID ploy, you know why you support intelligent design in the
first place so you know that it is scam already. How sad is that?
Just put it this way, if this "controversy" was about building bridges
would you support the ID scam artists? Science has built a lot of
bridges, and anyone can go and look at them and see that they exist.
The ID perps have no bridges to show for all of their bluster. Not a
single scientific success in all of our understanding of nature. Not
one. All they can show you are bridges that failed and that science
has built a working bridge over the ruin. Who makes babies? Who
caused disease? Who pulled the sun and moon across the sky? How do
these ID failures differ from Who made the flagellum? They might
claim to have some bridges, but they can't take you there because
there are no roads to these bridges. You only have to take their word
that they exist, but you know for a fact that they have lied to you
before.
Would you contract a company with a 100% failure rate, for bridges
that they can show you, to build a bridge in your town, let alone, one
that all the school kids have to ride a bus over every day? If you
don't believe in the 100% failure rate, just go to the Discovery
Institute and ask them for their list of ID successes in science. ID
used to be the default explanation in Western science. That is why
the Discovery Institute perps called their group the CRSC (Center for
RENEWAL of Science and Culture). They wanted to take science back to
the dark ages when we didn't know any better. The Discovery Institute
has no such list because they have no designer did it successes, not
one. You can't teach what does not exist, not in the science class.
Science doesn't use ID for basically one simple reason, it has never
worked. Some scientists even define science in such a way as to
exclude the basic tenets of intelligent design.
One success and ID could become part of science. That is a fact.
Think of that if you decide to take the creationist switch scam from
the same dishonest ID perps that you know lied to you about the
science of ID that they claimed to be able to teach. Remember that
they lied to you too. Not only that, but instead of coming clean
about ID, they decided to run a dishonest bait and switch scam on
their own supporters while still claiming to be working on intelligent
design "theory." How bogus can you get?
