It may be change but it is not speciation.
Nobody said it was speciation. That's what he's trying to tell you. The thread is about evolution, not speciation. Evolution and speciation are not synonyms.
Critters of different species either can't interbreed or can only infrequently interbreed and produce sterile offspring (like horses and donkeys).
....or produce fertile offspring that are nevertheless selected against. There are all manner of interactions between species.
The human (homo sapien sapien) race has to to spit into mutually non interbreeding populations.
....if there's going to be speciation; but that's not required for evolution. Do you see the difference?
