The same thing is true for your trees in this case. These trees
really don't say anything reliable when it comes to determining the
"correct" tree. Therefore, they should not be used to make judgements
on this or that supposed "relationship" between Neandertals and
various groups of Modern Humans. No group can be said to be clearly
"more primitive", genetically, than any other group - and that
includes the Neandertal group of humans.
?? and how does intelligent design resolve this?
it doesn't. ID has no answers to ANY change in the observable world.
I guess the origin of this comment has nothing to do with ID
then? ; )
evolution does. evolution can explain what ID can't, while ID can not
explain any feature of the natural world at all.
Like Mozart's 5th Symphony? ; )
yes. that's correct.
it's your assertion that our understanding of natural laws is too
primitive to allow us to say how species originated.
it's equally your assertion that our understanding of natural laws is
so advanced we can say an intelligence was involved.
obviously there's a contradiction here. of course, creationism/ID by
its very nature handwaves away contradictions, and cherry picks its
observations...but it's a contradiction nonetheless.
