(Yes, I snipped quite a bit rather than repeat the whole article, and
frankly, I didn't read it all.)
Please show us your source on a claim of Homo sapiens being "millions of
years old". To the best of my knowledge, the oldest known Homo sapiens
remains were dated to be 195,000 years old. Homo sapiens would need to
be six times older than evidence indicates to be over a million years
old, let alone plural "millions" as your subject line suggests.
On the subject of maths, the Bible indicates the human family is only
about 6,000 years old, so this is hardly evidence of the Bible's
historicity!
Again, please give us the quote and name of the scientists claiming Homo
sapiens are "millions" of years old.
Since the partial quote above doesn't specify, was the claim "Homo
sapiens" or "human" (which latter would include any members of genus
Homo)? If the latter, there's some justification for the claim of
"million(s)" (but not for anything about the historical accuracy of the
Bible, of course).

"Human" would not only includes all the species of the genus "Homo" but
includes ancestors of Homo such as the Australopithecines.
