From Wikipedia's article on biodiesel-

content have concluded that only 28,000 km² or 0.3% of the land area
of the US could be utilized to produce enough biodiesel to replace all
transportation fuel the country currently utilizes."

So visualizing it how much oil are we talking about?

Yes, well, the other factor is that we might have to make due with
more fuel effecient cars, which wouldn't really be so bad.
