What is perhaps surprising is that substantial minorities in
America apparently believe in ghosts, UFOs, witches, astrology
and reincarnation.

The survey, which has a sampling error of plus or minus two
percent, found that 35 percent of the respondents believed in
UFOs and 31 percent in witches.

Believing in Witches is like believing in Catholics: Wicca is a
thriving religion.

Same for believing in saints: Mormonism is a thriving religion.

One religion that doesn't appear to be fairing too well is Atheism.

What are you talking about? Every morning atheists bow down to nothing,
pray to nothing, and make offerings to nothing. Sounds to me like the
religion of atheism is doing quite well and following its religious
texts religiously.

Atheism is the easiest religion of all to follow, you don't have to
believe the unbelievable, explain the unexplainable, justify the
unjustifiable, prove the unprovable, or worship the unworshipable.

And unlike agnostics, they don't bow down to the question mark
(paraphrasing Nietzsche).
