Sorry, most people do abuse and confuse "effect" and "affect". But
'effect' is a perfectly good verb. For example you can not effect
(i.e., bring about or accomplish) significant changes in usage by
correcting such errors. People willfully ignore criticism!


'can not' should be 'cannot', n'est ce pas?
