Since ray should be getting to the final draft of his paper that will
explain life, the Universe and everything, I thought it would be
helpful for us to give him some pointers. I'm also really bored...
Me go first:
1) Make sure you cite any ideas that are not your own, both within the
text and in your list of references. Try to avoid endnotes, its
annoying when one has to flip back and forth to see what you're
referring to, in text citation (name and date) will work better.
2) List all references that you've used, even if you do not cite them
in your text.
Bible, The, authors unknown, dates various, interpretation also various.
Scott, Eugene, collected oral wisdom of, dates various, verification
impossible.
I was of the impression that Scott's pronouncements were available on
video? In what sense is "verification impossible"?
I doubt every pronouncement of the late Scott is available on video.
And even if they were, unless Ray identifies the video and the point
in the running time the quote occurs (and you bought all the videos),
there is no way of checking whether he ever said what Ray claims he
said.- Hide quoted text -

All of Dr. Scott's teaching is available in either audio or video
formats as he taught on public airwaves for 29 years.
Darwin included no source cites in the first edition of the "Origin"
and asked the reader to take his word on it, even though he worked on
the book for twenty years. Off hand I do not know when Darwin provided
a reference and source list.
Richard Dawkins, while providing a bibliography in his books, uses no
references or source cites or numbering system in his texts. Dawkins
says it is insulting to his integrity to do otherwise. Personally, I
have no problem with Dawkins's stance and I admire him for it. Let it
be known that his most famous book (Blind Watchmaker) contains no
references or source cites in the text, but only a bibliography in the
back of the book. If you want to check Dawkins out then you have to
hunt and guess as to which claim goes to which book in the
bibliography, and then you have to obtain that book and read the whole
thing to see if your guess is correct. The point is: Dawkins could
provide the references but he chooses not to.
