You used the words "observable & detectable" quite a lot in those

That is quite normal in science.

We've has only just started sing RNAi to turn off "genes", to mark
their function.

I didn't say that they have no function. I said that they have no
observable or detectable function. If they have a function, it must
be an insignificant one that produces no observable or detectable
effect above the variation that is due to chance alone.


Do you know how many people "Die" every day because doctors *can not*
"observe" or "detect" a condition a patient was suffering from??

Let me be frank.

If a highly trained doctor can *not* notice a condition, (especially
when a patient is screaming out in pain, saying he is suffering from a
certain condition),

how the hell are you gonna know if some sequence you deleted on some
animal is useful or not??

I dont want to distress anyone, but Pip said he had *NO* associated
pains, yet he was quite ill.

Not all afflictions are detectable!
