Oh? Supply some evidence? Generally you are wrong, I suspect, but if
you dig the barrel you may find something that proves your point. In
the meantime, lorikeets and humans DO and HAVE formed what we term as
race, like it or not. Would you prefer "breed" instead as in dogs?

I'd prefer you to define what "race" even means. Since the term as it was
classically applied by the Victorians has been pretty much debunked, perhaps
you can give us this new definition that reflects the realities of genetic
diversity throughout the world.

For instance, how many races are there in sub-Saharan Africa? How many
races are there in East Asia? How many races of dogs are there? How many
races of gold fish?

Obviously humans cause too much trouble. Try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lories_and_lorikeets
and deconstruct the concept of race there. Lorikeets are drop dead
gorgeous and much nicer to look at. After all your argument, as such,
should apply there as well. Right?

In short, you can't actually justify what you're saying, but in classic
fashion, toss a link at me.

I will ask the questions again, and instead of tossing me an article on a
family of parrots, you can simply try answering them.

Gow many races are there in sub-Saharan Africa? How many races are there in
East Asia? How many races of dogs are there? How many races of gold fish?

Since you seem to think race a meaningful classification, at the very least,
if you feel a little too mawkish to answer those questions, you can tell me
your operating definition of a "race" and how that relates to genetic
classifications.
