Apparently. Indeed. It is not difficult to accept that human mind is
much to tiny and weak compared to God's intelligence who might have
well pre-ordered things which to us are apparently random.
It is not difficult at all to accept such things. First you imagine
it, then pretend you didn't just imagine it, and, finally, forget that
you are pretending.
"Evolution's importance in this matter is small compared to the size
and age of the universe, and they are in turn trivial compared to the
central difficulty of theism, the problem of evil. Theologians seem
generally to have realized this. Given the existence of evil, god
can't be benevolent, omnipotent, and omniscient all at once; pick two
at most. So forget evolution and worry about that bigger issue."
Paradoxically its just evolution which might explain that. Why not
seeing the evil as the necessary term a deity introduced in the world
to make us evolve?
Evolution just needs differential reproduction of various heritable
traits. A few random variations make it extra-powerful. What kind of
god would see the need to involve evilness in it? At best, he either
wasn't powerful enough to stop it, he wasn't smart enough to see it,
or he didn't care enough to stop it.
I learned a lot of things through sufferance I
otherwise would have refused to learn.
That's a brainwashing technique.
