They aren't all internal experiences. Take the missionary who prayed
for deliverance from her oppressors and then they were killed to a man
while they're hitchhikers miraculous escaped unharmed.
Once you can pass it off as coincidence,

It is

but when it keeps happening
to you you can't deny it so easily.

Noone is denying it happens .. it is simply nothing to do with a god .. it
is not miraculous .. it is just fortunate for that particular missionary.
Of course, those many other innocent people who pray to their gods and die
must have been what .. praying to the wrong god? not praying hard enough?
God wasn't listening?

Most people have less dramatic indicators, like wishing that a deer
would cross the road a hundred times on many nights so that the kids
could see one, and then the first time you pray a deer appears in the
road nanoseconds afterwards.

Coincidence .. is this the best you have to offer. That after hundreds of
times you see a deer. Now.. if you'd wished to see an elephant, and one
appeared, that might be something .. but even then if it turned out it had
escaped from a circus (say), then it wouldn't seem so miraculous .. just a
funny coincidence

You might pass that off in coincidence too,

Yes.

but then you get in a car
wreck in the middle of no where and when you come crawling out of the
ditch a tree right in your path has a sign on it saying "Seek Ye The
Lord and Ye Shall Live."

Oh pleaes.. that is an even MORE pathetic reason.

Ther eis no sign anywhere else for miles and miles, but this one is
precisely where you wrecked, and precisely in the path you chose to
come up from the ditch.

That is conincidence. Do you think od made you car crash .. or that he
erected a sign wher eyou crashed. Get real .. you've obviously had some
traumatic experience and its affected your ability to think rationally.

It happens enough and you realize that coincidence just can't explain
it. The odds are too much against it.

Something being unlikely does not make it impossible .. unlikely things
happen every day. That does not make them miracles nor acts of god .. that
is simply how chance works.
