notified of Dr. Dino's travel plans, but apparently these events
will feature one *Eric* Hovind, Kent's son, who is running CSE
and, apparently, appropriating the "Dr. Dino" _nom de con game_
during his father's stay in government housing. According to one
of his YouTube promos, he's available to speak at YOUR church if
you'd like the stumbling block of evolution removed by his dad's
30 years of research. I'm not sure what his fees are, though.
According tohttp://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=77436,
Eric attended Jackson Hole Bible College.
http://www.jhbc.edu/
Ken Ham is listed among their faculty members, none of whom actually
appear to reside in the state in which JHBC actually is found
(Wyoming). It is the very definition of a diploma mill: you can't
find any actual list of courses offered at the "college", which
offerss a "one-year, in depth study of the scriptures with a creation
emphasis". Additionally, "we are dedicated in providing our students
with a quality program combining outdoor recreational activities and
solid Biblical teaching".
Well, at least the students will get some fresh air.
combining outdoor recreational activities and solid Biblical
teaching."
So it's a Christian day care?
They teach telling the truth and playing well with others.
Compare and contrast with Jackson Hole Bible College.
between the Christian day care services that teach telling the truth and
playing well with others, and those that teach that the world is only
6,000 years old, scientists are evil liars, and Adam and Eve rode
dinosaurs to church?
One's a Christian day care service, and the other's a vile nest of
heretical
anti-Christian nonsense which must be wiped out with fire and the sword.
That's as may be, though I think "fire and the sword" is a bit
extreme--
Errm, I was, ah, quoting the Bible. Isiah 66:16. Ezekiel 23:25. Nahum 3:15.
Several others.
I particularly like ol' Zeke:
"And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with
thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall
fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy
residue shall be devoured by the fire."
Zeke needs to lighten up just a wee bit.
I'm not religious, but I'd be the last to suppress any other
person's right to express his religious views. But both organizations
described above would consider themselves "Christian Day Care" and
advertise themselves as such. And it's not inconceivable that each would
sincerely consider itself Christian and the other a false-Christian
Trojan horse.
Ah-ha.
How can a concerned parent know for sure to which kind of "Christian
Day Care" she's about to send her child, especially since creationists
often aren't above telling lies to push their message?
The one which heretically says that the Earth is only 6000 years old would b
the one that ol' Zeke would be getting all hot about.
