You are trying to understand Darwin's intent by lying about what he
said? Quoting from him, and inserting words that utterly alter the
meaning of what he wrote, is not "reformulating."
Meaning is semantics. The meaning of the word "selection" is conscious
teleological goal directed selection by a human or conscious agent. I
want to know what was Darwin's intent with joining "natural" and
"selection". Your intent might not be the "nature selection force" but
what was Darwin's intent?
The mere fact that
Darwin did not say that nature's "powers of selection" were
"conscious" ought to be taken as a very large clue about his "intent."
He used the term "....man's power of selection..." not "... nature's
power of selection..." unless you can quote
me a passage? He didn't say nature was conscious but he seemed to have
such intent.
"...power of natural selection..", "...principle of natural
selection...", "....theory of natural selection..."
Darwin seemingly didn't know the difference between a principle, power
and theory and used these phrases interchangeably. We don't talk
about Newton's principle of gravity, we refer to his theory of
gravity. What was Darwin's mechanism for these morphological changes
in the modified descendant from the chimpanzee's transmutation into
the human species? Show me where in Origin did Darwin give the actual
mechanism for these morphological transformations of one species into
another.
