notified of Dr. Dino's travel plans, but apparently these events
will feature one *Eric* Hovind, Kent's son, who is running CSE
and, apparently, appropriating the "Dr. Dino" _nom de con game_
during his father's stay in government housing. According to one
of his YouTube promos, he's available to speak at YOUR church if
you'd like the stumbling block of evolution removed by his dad's
30 years of research. I'm not sure what his fees are, though.
According tohttp://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=77436,
Eric attended Jackson Hole Bible College.
http://www.jhbc.edu/
Ken Ham is listed among their faculty members, none of whom actually
appear to reside in the state in which JHBC actually is found
(Wyoming). It is the very definition of a diploma mill: you can't
find any actual list of courses offered at the "college", which
offerss a "one-year, in depth study of the scriptures with a creation
emphasis". Additionally, "we are dedicated in providing our students
with a quality program combining outdoor recreational activities and
solid Biblical teaching".
Well, at least the students will get some fresh air.
combining outdoor recreational activities and solid Biblical
teaching."
So it's a Christian day care?
They teach telling the truth and playing well with others.
Compare and contrast with Jackson Hole Bible College.
One's a Christian day care service, and the other's a vile nest of heretical anti-Christian nonsense which must be wiped out with fire and the sword.
That's as may be, though I think "fire and the sword" is a bit extreme-- I'm not religious, but I'd be the last to suppress any other person's right to express his religious views. But both organizations described above would consider themselves "Christian Day Care" and advertise themselves as such. And it's not inconceivable that each would sincerely consider itself Christian and the other a false-Christian Trojan horse.
How can a concerned parent know for sure to which kind of "Christian Day Care" she's about to send her child, especially since creationists often aren't above telling lies to push their message?
