A sudden and dramatic shortage of Gypsies was reported this week in
the capital of Roumania, Bucharest. Across the country, no-one was
being robbed, beaten, or swindled. Officials are at a loss to explain

cities and countryside. The Minister for Internal Affairs, Radu

interest.' Search parties were called in late last week to search for
the missing Gypsies, so far without luck. 'Don't worry; we'll find
them' said Sergiu Chirila, head of the search committee.
Consideration was being given to sending raiding parties to Sicily and
Spain, to 'rescue' ex-patriate Roumanian Gypsies.

So... you're getting some form of entertainment from other people's
misfortune?


Somebody stole our Gypsies! We want them back! We have nobody to rob,
swindle, and beat people....we're too busy to do it ourselves, so we
leave this distateful work to our Gypsy population...
