Well, lets take an analogy here. When a person is your wife or your
husband, it actually IS considered to be a virtue to have faith in
them.

If you are constantly doubting your spouse, skeptical of them, asking
them why they are home late, why they didn't call, where they have
been all day, this type of suspicion and LACK OF FAITH wrecks your
marriage.

Likewise, with our love relationiship to God. Exactly like it is a
"virtue" to have faith in your spouse, it is also a virtue to have
faith in God. Any relationship based on love, requires faith to make
it work.

I'm almost positive my wife exists, as otherwise I couldn't begin to
explain why I had to sleep on the couch last night.
