THE HUNTED

In order to conform to others, in the so-called dating game is that
being a woman or just being a man seemed so simple in the days of
old. Men were Kings and women were Queens. Men were fathers and
women were mothers. Mr., a term used to describe men and Mrs., a term
used to describe a woman who belonged to a man.
Men were known as hunters and providers for women. Women kept the
caves a glow and warm for their men to return. When hardly a word
spoken, communication existed which seemed to be the key for early
mans survival. By this I mean every man and every woman knew by
instinct what role they should play for the success of the family unit
and or tribal community.
To be a good hunter takes knowledge and skill. Knowing what kind of
animals is good to eat and what season you may hunt these animals. A
good hunter would never overkill a particular animal and would always
eat the animal they killed.
Men began learning to domesticate these animals and a different skill
or technique was then established. Men were now spending more time
in their caves instead of going outside to hunt. This situation
brought about more language and communications between the men and
women who inhabited the caves.
The basic needs of life such as housing, food, warmth and clothing
were all that these men and women needed. These needs are not much
different from the needs of men and women of today. However in
today's world men no longer hunt for their food. The need to hunt
however still exists for men and so the hunt for women is now
prominent.
Women today express a need to be desired. To be cared for and provided
for as in the days of old. Women are not animals and resent the fact
that we are being hunted. There exists a lack of satisfaction on the
part of man in this situation, I think because the hunt cannot satisfy
mans hunger.
Must we go back to the caves to know whom men, women should be or
should we as men, and women begin to communicate more and hunt less?
I just want to be me. How would you know me without inquiry? So,
talk to me instead of hunting me down like an animal, please.
