Ordinary gravitational escape.
But, gravitational escape is a very very very, small fraction of
hydrogen leaking into space.
Oh? What accounts for the rest?
The rest of what?
Er... The rest of the hydrogen leaking into space. You said that a
very^3 small fraction of it is due to gravitational escape. What
accounts for the rest?
Lets recap.
1) Colorado University, publish a paper, saying the early atmosphere
contained about 40% H.
2) You say its more like 5%. Citing "Ordinary gravitational escape"
for the discrepancy!
3) I point out, the implausability of that.
4) You then ask me in effect "where the other 35%" dissapeared to.
5) Saying " Oh? What accounts for the rest"?
6 I say "The rest of what"?
7) you say "Er... The rest of the hydrogen.... You said that a
very^3 small fraction of it is due to gravitational escape. What
accounts for the rest?
There is only YOU saying the "rest" disappeared!
