As I indicated above, I do not know Prof. Feit. Consequently, I have
no sound basis for determining how he would respond to the situation
you suggest. There is a wide range of possible responses.

Perhaps you _do_ know Prof. Feit personally and have had long
conversations with him on the subject (although you neglected to
mention that in your post). Or perhaps not. If not, I find it
interesting that you are apparently absolutely certain about your
prediction of a stranger's response to a hypothetical situation.
