In need of advice

This is aimed at any scientist or people working in related field on
this forum.

I've always been interested in science, particularly biology, and want
to get a job in some scientific field, but I haven't settled on which.
I intend to go to uni next year, but I'm not entirely sure which
course I want to do. Right now the main contenders are behavioural
science or microbiology.

Does anyone know what sorts of jobs these courses might be applicable
to, or have other ideas? Does anyone know where I can get information
on different biology-related specialised jobs or anything? Are either
of the abovementioned courses good for a wide range of jobs?
