You must distinguish between stupidity and incredulousness. Has it
ever occurred to you that religions are endemic in certain regions of
the world?
Perhaps endemic in every region of the world?
They are passed down from parent to child, regardless of
the fact that they are utter nonsense.
The parents' influence on the child is greater than any other...in any
society.
If you were to take a complete
savage and tell him the stories of the bible, he would look at you as
though you were some kind of idiot. Of course, the stuff the savage
believes is just as idiotic, but that's a different story...
The ONLY
reason anyone questions TOE is his religious training.
Not so...my brother-in-law is not a religious person, and has had no
religious training, yet he questions the TOE because he is misinformed
about the details of the theory. He has read quite a few creationist
books, and so his understanding of evolution comes from those sources.
I have tried on several occasions to clarify his understanding, and
even recommended some good reading, but so far, to no avail.
btw....he also gives credence to the Aquatic Ape Theory and Pole
Shift.......he seems to have a penchant for rejecting the mainstream
in favour of the "underdog" ideas....no matter how ludicrous they are.
