Sadly, the anti-science folks who object to evolution are under the
foolish delusion that the theory of evolution has not changed since
Darwin first proposed the idea of variation and natural selection. Of
course scientists have learned much in the century and a half since
Darwin's original breakthrough, primarily about the mechanism, a
mechanism that really wasn't understood until long after Darwin
recognized what was happening.

What mechanism, what was happening? What did Darwin realise was
happening. Is NS the mechanism, mechanism of what , "change" perhaps.
What then is the mechanism of the "Theory of Change". As far as his
idea of NS is concerned he conflated NS with "survival of the
fittest" a term that was used 16 times in Origin of Species or the the
Origin of Change or the Origin of Everything - its all just semantics.
And SofFittest is an obvious recognised by everybody around here
tautology. Darwin also used the phrase "Theory of Natural Selection"
in OofSpecies. He conflated "Theory of Evolution", "Theory of Natural
Selection" and "Survival of the fittest", indicating that he did'nt
quite now what exactly it is that he wanted to convey other than the
obvious fact that dogs breed - which they have to ofcourse or there
would be no dogs. But this we only know after the event. Furthermore
NS was never abreviated by repeated over 350 times when typsetting was
done by hand in a deliberate attempt at rubbing this phrase in. A
phrase he only attempted to define once and tried to create some sort
of antonym with Artificial Selection a phrase he only used once and
never attemted to define but used it an a pejorative negative sense in
contrasting mans "feeble" abilities with that of Nature.

I would suggest that some of you actually try to read Orgin of
Species, it is the biggest load of unbelievable rubbish peppered with
"it is easy to see", "one can easilty imagine...." Everything is just
so easy, simple stories for simple minds - just mix with "Natural
Selection" and everything can be explained.

Backspace, backspace, backspace... you were warned so many times, and
yet you drank some of Dale Kelly's special Kool-Aid, didn't you?
