Look up the Urey-Miller experiment for starters.
Also there seems to be different aspects for possibly life to start.
Look up deep sea vents. There are two ecological systems. 1 based on
sulfur vents and another on methane.
All this is called abiogenesis, btw.
Now do your homework. =b
