Yes. I was agreeing with you. Did you notice? Around here, we see mostly
YECs, and an old universe is just as good as an old earth for them.
There are very few creationists who accept that the universe is much
older than the earth (generally less than a day older). And so people
get sloppy.

I presume you're some kind of old earth creationist? Or are you one of
the rare young earth, old universe creationists?

None of the above, simply pointing an inaccurate characterization.
The thread title should have been:
"Scientific proof that the materials that formed the earth are old."

So in other words, the materials were formed ~5 billion years ago,
trucked to a cosmic Self-Storage warehouse, and then at some other time
were brought out again and used to build the Earth. And you ignore all
the other evidence that shows what things were happening on the Earth
throughout the time between its formation ~4.5BYA and now.
