God? Why not advanced alien science project?

From what we know, we evolved. It's close to being 99% fact, but far
closer to fact is evolution than God, because there's no traces of God
besides what those 99% evolved beings wrote about.

So, we can say God created us.

Well, for that matter, we can say The Easter Bunny created us, or The
Tooth Fairy, or maybe we're the science project of some advanced alien
species that no longer exists.

Who knows?

Why would anyone waste their time pondering this? I mean, I know why,
there a many reasons why, but I mean, why as in, shouldn't we be going
about the far more important issues of our society such as pollution
and poverty and yadda yadda.

I don't profess to have all the answers, but I like to think I'm
realistic.
