Really everybody knows that the theory that much of everything is
predetermined in entirety (except for a few human choices), is
completely uncredible. We can only ever hope to be able to pretend to
believe that. So everybody is going to have to deal with this issue of
alternatives some time.
Now I will argue it differently;
Supposing there are two scientists observing at time zero, and
supposing the one observes velocity while the other observes position.
Since it must always remain true that position and velocity can't be
measured to precision at the same time, it therefore must be true that
one or the other is at precision for each time. So to say the
uncertainty principle can't be true if it would be so that a scientist
measuring had anything to do with the state of precision of either
velocity or position. So then it must be true that the object itself
chooses which variable to go to precision.
So to say, it means that time progresses per decision, for if time did
not progress per decision, we could observe the object in a timeframe
where it was not decided which variable went to precision, and such
would violate the uncertainty principle, which says that one of the
two variables can always be measured to precision.
Now, was that more reasonable then the theory that almost everything
is completely predetermined? It's lots more reasonable.
