Human Extinction? 1

Human Extinction? 1

At the rate the inhabitants of this world are moving downward how long
do you think it will take before we finally do ourselves in? 200
years, 100 years or less?

Studies have been showing for some time that humans are less fit than
our recent ancestors. We also have less thinking abilities (read many
of the posts here). Harmful mutations are increasing at the rate of
400 to 600 per person /per generation (a generation is considered to
be 40 years). Over the 100 generations that humans have been on the
earth that means we have accumulted between 40,000 to 60,000 mutations
in our DNA. Most of these have probably been neutral, however, many
are harmful (note MS, CF, Downs, sicklecell anemia, Parkinsons,
deformaties, obesity, IQ, cancers, etc). Coupled to this is the rise
of STDs and drugs (now seen effecting us in the newly discovered
epigenome) and all their permanent effects along with diseases that
appear to have no cures. At the same time we are destroying our
planet along with our food sources.

While the atheists/evolutionists boast that we are moving up, in
reality we are falling down more with each generation. All the
statistics and studies as well as casual observation are pointing in a
downward direction not upward. If one matches the physical and mental
downward trend one can also see the moral downward trend over the last
50 years where "ME" is the most important person on earth and is
headed for extinction perhaps sooner than thought!
