There is no "science" of evolved values, however, evolution can explain how
some values may have evolved.
And what are people supposed to do with statements such as that? Nobody
in the scientific community really understands statements as you make.
You cannot mess around with values like that, as if it were just the
same as describing some chemical formula. By making values into an
intractible mess you leave people hellbent towards a practical
understanding of values in scientific terms.
You have to acknowledge choice, acknowledge the limation on science to
know what will be chosen, before it is chosen. You have to acknowledge
those points at which one can focus hope and fear. Acknowledging this
limitation on what is possible to know does not weaken science. Hope
and fear, those are values, they do not evolve, never have and never
will. Values are solely essential to resolving situations where there
are several possibilities, with the weather turning to rain or dry, or
a human choosing republican or democrat. All situations where there are
several possibilities belong to one big class of knowledge, and the
owners to the choices, is what religion has always addressed.
Now again, capitulate, you have no argument.
