kept records of any celestial peculiarities, lunar and solar eclipses
or comets, for example. How come all of the them failed to notice the
extra long day reported in the book of Joshua?
Please see http://sunnyokanagan.com/joshua/index.html The Chinese did
record Joshua's long day. Moreover, sun miracles were observed many
times both in the Middle East and China for the same day. Thus giving
exact dates for events in the Bible.
started again there are serious problems. If God moved the sun with
earth's rotation half way around the earth the sun would stand still
"from the half of heaven" for 12 hours, a day, and continue in its
foward momentum in reverse around the sun. Then the earth must shift to
keep in the same season. "The State Archives of Assyria Volume VIII
report 310 says, "If in Adar (February 20 - March 20) the sun stands
still in the middle of noontime: the land will experience siege (and)
misery." Likewise from China: "King Wan dreamt he was clothed with the
sun and the moon. A phoenix duck sang on mount K'e. In the first month
of spring, on the 6th day, the five planets had a conjunction in Fang
(Scorpius). Afterwards a male and female phoenix went about Wan's
capital with a writing in their beaks, which said: 'The emperor of Yin
has no principle, but oppresses and disorders the empire. The great
decree is removed: Yin cannot enjoy it longer. The powerful spirits of
earth have left it; all the spirits are whistled away. The conjunctions
of the five planets in Fang brightens all within the four seas'". Thus
Joshua's long day must have been on the sixth day of the moon in
February which in 1238 BC is February 26. Earth must shift almost
immediately 70 degrees clockwise on the vertical to keep in the same
season. The vertical axis points to the zenith, the polar axis is 23
degrees of the zenith. If you have a globe you can follow this. Put
your hand by the earth were the sun would be February 26. Now move it
counterclockwise with earth's rotation 180 degrees to the other side of
the earth. You will see you are suddenly in the May season. So you must
twist the base of your globe 70 degrees clockwise to get back in the
February 26 season. Now earth can orbit in reverse and the sun's
intensity be the same on the earth as if it was in a normal orbit. The
sun must move 180 degees back on the aniversary of the first time, or
half an orbit later, for earth to reorient 70 degrees counterclockwise
and flow out of the reverse orbit and continue as if nothing had
happened. So we look for such a record and we find just the one. "After
seven days, at the time from jiwei (day 56) to gengshen (day 57), the
moon was eclipsed." In this changed chronology the date is given August
14 1166 BC. There was a lunar eclipse then, however this is the wrong
date. In the unchanged, common chronology this is August 31/September 1
1238 BC for which there is no lunar eclipse. August 31 is exactly half
an orbit after February 26. The same number of days before the equinox
meaning earth can shift the same amount back, flow out of the reverse
orbit and continue as if nothing had happened. Coincidence? I don't
think so. There are many other sun miracles with the same attributes.
This is the real thing. This is true. Do the math, follow the model,
and you will see what I mean.

Andrew, have you ever taken a course in Physics?
I don't mean nuclear or atomic physics, or quantum physics, or even
the physics of heat, light, and sound. I mean Physics 101 -- the
laws of motion.
Have you ever taken such a course?
Given a stable situation of a central massive sun, nine orbiting
planets, and some 60-odd natural satellites of those planets (read
the September, '06 Scientific American), what do you think would
happen if that central sun, about which all of the solar system
orbits, suddenly took a turn to 'hover' over the rotating earth for
a day? Any idea what would happen?
In something short of scientific terms, "The shit would hit the fan".

Hello:
Yes I took Physics 11 and Physics 12 and some trigometry. This model is
very simple and easy to be understood. Something that has eluded
scientists. Furthermore, this model is backed up by many ancient
astronomical observations and lines up with the Bible perfectly.
Sorry, but mainlining, smoking or snorting physics or trigonometry doesn't quite cut it. You also have to make at least a token effort of understanding the subject[s].
