During that time, my total income from work in that field has been as

Mary Anning Award: £100
Payment for talk on plesiosaurs: £28
Consultancy for Discovery Channel: £160
Consultancy for BBC: £75
Payment for BBC interview: £50
Donations from web site: £30
Answering questions about Mary Anning: £20

Total: £463

This is for at a conservative estimate 6000 hours of work which works
out at about 8 pence per hour.

As you can understand, I stuggle to find ways of spending all this
stupendous wealth.
