Look at the following page for an attempt to track the approach or the
rapture "scientfically" - the "rapture index" (looks sort of like the
Dow Jones)

I can just imagine this on a TV news show:

"The rapture index was up 6 points today, led by sharp ncreases in
false Christs and wild weather, which were partially offset by drops in
tribulation temple and kings of the east. And now for the latest in
sports. . ."
