An expanding earth experiment



Just a suggestion.
Get a cheap 1 foot globe and cut out the continents (at the
continental margins, not the shoreline.
Fit them jigsaw style onto a 1 foot ball. With some small overlap and
gaps, they fit reasonably well.
Now get a 6 inch ball and try to fit them with no cutting or folding.
