Do you have any empirical evidence that the history of nucleotide
mutations was inevitable?

I'll ask again: what event that has occurred was not inevitable?

I studied the results of various statistical computer programs that
simulated and tested various aspects of molecular evolution. And
repeating tests with the exact same variables would sometimes result in
different outcomes. In these cases, any particular outcome was
unnecessary while repeating any given test forty times would likely
result in a normal distribution.

I am not asking you to discuss the limits of some computer simulation.
And forget biology as the subject. Point to some event in the world, a
rock falling, a leaf moving, a tidal flow, whatever, that is not
necessary? That is, show me something that says that the world is not
deterministic.

A print out of a computer simulation is an event in the world, but I
will humor your request. Okay, a leaf blowing in the wind is not a
deterministic event but a probabilistic event.

It is my suspicion, being the pessimist that I am, that there are an
infinite number of universes, all exactly like this one.

I cannot disprove that with empirical evidence.

A nuclear bomb set under Capital Hill in Washington DC. set to go off if
a certain number of events during a certain time period are detected by
a radiation counter set to 50% probability.

So? Please show me that the probability calculation is a statement
about the world and not about our knowledge.
