So when Genesis says the flood covered the highest mountain and then

They were only *little* mountains, obviously.
No, no, no. They weren't even little mountains. They were buried
WWWWWW folds in unconsolidated sediments (sand, plywood) hiding just
below the ground surface, and only became mountains after all the
sediments sitting on the sloping planes were washed away as the
Floodewaters drained to ... um ... drained to ... um... drained away!
Now, now.
Don't mock Sean.
He evidently knows more about geology than all the rest of us combined.
He has gained his knowledge in the *true* scientific way - i.e. reading
the Bible and then making it up as he goes along. He knows better that
to allow minor matters such as the forms of the rocks *themselves* to
tell us about geological processes. His use of plywood sheets and sand
is self-evidently the only correct way to explain the geological
processes which *should* happen.
Sh*t. I missed the prescriptive/descriptive seminar. So, what are
the moral implications of Ordovician limestone on Mt. Everest? It
must have been an uplifting experience. Is it a consequence of
crinoidal sin?? Is there redemption through erosion???
The only reason why we don't understand is that we are blinded by our
"evolutionist" blinkers.
And here I thought my eye problems resulted from months peering at U-
stage-mounted thin sections, stray radiation during too many years
running the XRF and XRD units, HF fumes etching my corneas, the
tropical sun reflecting off trondhjemites and burning my retinas.
That really screws the lawsuits.
That's no way for a *true* scientist to behave!
Looking for *evidence*? Are you not aware that in doing so you are
putting your imortal soul in danger?
This universe is just an illusion.
In the *real* universe, you can compress a given volume of material
into a smaller area without increasing its thickness, and rocks always
erode stratum by stratum, even when they are deeply buried. Oh, and all
those dangerous experiments you do, all that equipment you use? It's a
complete waste of money. You just need a *** of plywood, some sand
and a jug of water and all the mysteries of geology will be revealed to
you.
