Hello:Only assuming *your* odd interpretation of that document.
King Wan dreamt he was clothed in the sun and the moon because he
dreamed of being the emperor of China. Next he recounts the
astronomical observation as the Chinese had recorded years before. The
observation was of the sun standing still at sunset, when people go to
bed. Thus, perhaps the connotation of being clothed in pajamas.
There was only one lunar eclipse in 1238 BC, a total lunar eclipse on
July 2 1238 BC which was day 56. However, it was not visible from China
as it happened at 8:44 AM in China when the sun had risen and the moon
had already set.
Yes, this is a great deal to derive from ancient documents. However,
this is as close to chapter and verse of the corroborating evidence of
Joshua's long day from sources outside of the Bible as you can get.

I see no corroboration of anything in this. The so-called observations
are, at least in the translation you provide, quite obscure and hard to
interpret. It is not at all clear that your interpretation is at all
correct. I would prefer to hear from an expert in Chinese history their
take on this document.
