OK. Here is the test. Some believe that life started via chance
processes. Others claim that amino acids came together through some
sort of predistination, meaning that because of inherant properties of
aminos they will naturally come together to create life. But
laboratory analysis has shown (observation) that this does not occur
and that in fact chance processes are at work. This is much like
tossing a magnet into a spinning dome and hoping perchance that only
blue rods within the dome will stick to the magnet.

Therefore, the experiment is this: Intelligence theory states that
intelligence will create complex things, such as this sentence. So the
experiment for the everyone involved, will be to close their eyes, spin
around in the chair and without trying to find your location on the
keyboard, at random type letters. OK? I will try this now:

jihukh hkjhukjh luw3ouj jyucjcoljwnlj c jcluoiu cjououn kjoiu k
jloukcowu.

Now you try it and prove to me that there is any exception to the law
of intelligence. Can't do it? Of course if we figured in
thermodynamics some of the letters will disapear as soon as they are
formed, without cooling of course.

JM

Okay, I will try. I am typing this keeping my eyes closed. It's not
like I ordinarily look at the keyboard either, I tend to look at what I
produce on the screen. As it turns out I'm a rather good typist. What
does it porve? I can even correct some of my mistakes by touch: When I
hit the key I Know that it went wrong and know how to fix it. It's just
a matter of practicin, even you can do it if you want to. There are
some easy exercises available or you can devise some on your own.
Fingers have their own memory :)

*opening my eyes* Okay, looks like I left two typos and capitalized one
letter unnecessarily, but on the whole I'd say that it's fairly
intelligible. Now what? Did I just prove something? Did the whole
field of thermodynamics just collapse?

That's funny. But you didn't do the experiment.

JM

I closed my eyes, spun in my chair and typed with my eyes closed, just
as you asked. Blind typing is easy. I suppose the result was not
randomlooking enough for you but even if I intended to type meaningless
random letters my eyes closed I would know what I was typing. At least
if I'm sitting in the usual manner, using all the fingers and the
keyboard in the usual position. So what would that prove? That
intelligence can produce a random looking string if it wants to? Sure,
but we knew that already.
