Re: The evolution of histones and other small parts

What book are you reading?

The Bible. What difference does it make?

I'm confused. Which part of the bible discusses the evolution of
histones? Is it one of the Apocrypha?

The Book of Mitochondria, chapter 1 verses 15-22. There's a parallel passage
in Organelles 2:12. And in Methylations 5:8 we read "There shall be a pattern
on thy heredity, that shall inhibit and regulate thy growth." Most
commentators think this refers only to histones and methyl groups, and not
regulatory genes, though...

And the histone shall leave the cytoplasm and cleave unto your DNA.

And the histones shall be double beneath, and in like manner they shall
be eight of them unto one octomer; thus shall it be for them all; they
shall be for the histone beads. 1,65 loops shall the DNA make around
the octomer; they shall be for the nucleosome. And they shall make a
coiled coil of the nucleosomes; they shall be for the chromatin strand;
ten nano-cubits shall be the width thereof.
