The book Im reading talks about the evolution of histones to help keep
the DNA from entanglement. And it talks about all sorts of neat little
features evolving, however it doesnt yet describe HOW the histones
evolved. Any body like to take a stab at that one? Im getting a lot of
advice around here about how I should read more. Well Im reading and
reading yet these books and articles just keep telling me that stuff
evolved here and there. Nobody seems to be telling me how.

just because something exists and its helpful doesnt show how it came
into being.

What book are you reading?
