The US spent a good chunk of the cold war giving aid and comfort to butchers

We also brought Europe back from the dead. Remember the Marshall Plan?

Yes, and I also remember how the British Empire was bankrupted and left to
fight the first third of the war on its own. Pretty good war for the US,
seeing as the wealth that England had built since Elizabeth I made it into
American coffers.

It's a thriving subcontinent, and in some ways has demonstrated a good deal
of superiority to the US.

Until the next war in which they will either colaborate with evil or
whine and beg for our assistance.

Oh yes, let's fantasize some future conflict so we can call down Europe now.

Fascism was invented in Europe.

And so was physics. What's your point?

Communism was invented in England by Karl Marx and his backer Fredrich
Engles.

And American democracy has its root in the English Parliament.

Europe was wrecked in the Great War by EuroTrash insanity.

The world wars were hardly the first general European wars, and as to
causes, well, the Americans can take as much blame as anybody else for WWII.
