Re: New Article at TalkReason: Creationists, Hitler and Evolution

In any case
the article suggested there was only 1 mention of "entwicklung", which
was blatantly false.

No, the article says: "a quick scan of several online English
translations of Mein Kampf shows only ONE use of the word "evolution",
in a context which does not refer at all to biological evolution, but
instead to the development of political ideas in Germany".

Since I was searching for the ENGLISH word "EVOLUTION", it's not very
surprising that I didn't count how many times the GERMAN word
"entwicklung" appeared in an ENGLISH translation.

The German word "entwicklung" does indeed appear lots of times in Mein
Kampf. Alas for the ICR liars (and for you), it also means
"development" or "unfolding", not just "evolution". And indeed, when
one actually reads Mein Kampf, one sees quickly that it does not make
any references to biological evolution. Not even once.

I notice that you say you went to the Aryan Nations website for
research. While you wre there, did you happen to, uh, notice that they
too don't mention "evolution" or "natural selection" anywhere on their
website? Instead, they keep talking about "God" and "The Creator" and
"Jesus Christ". Hmmmmmm . . . . . .

Indeed, I strongly encourage everyone out there to go to the websites
of Aryan Nations, all of the various KKK splinters, and any other
neo-nazi or white supremacist or anti-semitic group you can think of
and perform a simple experiment: Count how many times "evolution" or
"natural selection" is mentioned. Then count how many times "God" or
"The Creator" is mentioned.

Let us know what you find when you compare these two numbers.
