The Bible read literally is nonsense. The Earth is something like 4.5
billion years old, it is a spheriod (it does not have four corners), it
was different from what it is now a long time ago and there was no
worldwide flood while humans existed on this planet which is something
like within the last 2.5 million years. There is not enough water on
this planet to make a world wild flood that covers the highest mountain
(about six miles high) plus fifteen cubits.
The first mistake a Fundy makes is to take the Bible literally. The
second mistake he makes is to continue doing so in the face of
voluninous evidence to the contrary. The third mistake he makes is the
self decption required to hid the first two mistakes from himself.
Fundies are imbeciles or insane. They either have not the brains to
understand physical evidence or they are insane and deny physical
evidence.
You are most welcome to your opinion. In no more than say 70-80 years you
will certainly find out if you made good choices about what to believe, or
who to believe.
So, yes, if I were you, I would definitely hope the Bible is wrong. But if
it's not ,you are -as the Bible says- a walking dead-man, you will have all
of eternity apart from God as the consequence of your choice to reject him
now.
